7 pc Universal Barrel Trimming Kit. Here’s a complete barrel trimming system. To make a quality pen project you need to square the end of your pen blanks and pen tubes prior to turning. Our system includes cutting shafts that will fit into a drill chuck or lathe chuck – the shaft will clean the glue from the tubes and act as a pilot for the 3/4" HSS squaring cutter. This feature guarantees a perfectly concentric pen. The mandrel easily adapts to different length projects. Simply mount your tubes and bushings then slide the shaft to the appropriate length and lock it in place. The shorter shaft reduces the likelihood of the mandrel shaft bowing. The collet is tightened with two 7/8" wrenches (NOT included).
